Statistical and econometric evaluation
Impact evaluations and baseline counterfactual construction built on panel regression, fixed/mixed-effects, and Bayesian models.
Energy efficiency analysis
Brolte helps utilities, program administrators and regulators measure what efficiency and capacity programs actually save, and builds tools that put the same rigor in homeowners' hands.
Home Energy Upgrade Ladder
Calculated with the tool's October 2026 prices. Each rung's savings count what's left after the rungs before it.
Impact evaluations and baseline counterfactual construction built on panel regression, fixed/mixed-effects, and Bayesian models.
Meter, billing and program data turned into answers: which customers to reach, what's working, and where savings and load are heading.
Cloud-based analysis pipelines and interactive dashboards that keep results current and in front of decision-makers.
Net-to-gross and uncertainty acknowledged and calculated the way regulators expect.

Where your money goes, and what your ladder's no-cost rungs are worth.
$9.95
Every rung in order, with costs, paybacks, data sources, and assumptions that are adjustable to match your house.
Measured from your bills, not assumed. Upgrades like insulation, air sealing, windows and heat pumps save in proportion to what you spend on heating and cooling, so the Upgrade Ladder measures that from your own bills instead of assuming a typical home's split. Enter at least nine months of electricity or gas bills, covering winter (and summer if you have central air), and each bill is matched to the weather your state (or your part of California, Oregon or Washington) actually had over the dates it covers, from NOAA's climate records. A weather regression separates what your home uses in any season from what rises with the cold and what rises with the heat, then restates it for a normal-weather year, so one harsh winter or mild summer doesn't skew your plan. Your free summary and your full ladder both rest on it.
